David & Phyllis Wright own and operate Cyclewright. Both were born and raised in the area and have called Morganton home for most of their lives.
David recently retired from AT&T after 30 years of service. He has been an active cyclist for more than 20 years competing in dozens of cycling events across North Carolina and Tennessee. He received professional training and certifcation from United Bicycle Institute, one of the bike industry's leading technical schools. His certifications cover all aspects of bicycle repair, maintenance and shop opertions.
In addition, David is a member of the Board of Directors for Southmountain Children and Family Services, a children's foster care community, which cares for approximately 40 children on a full-time basis.
David and Phyllis are active members of Oak Hill United Methodist Church.
